About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Consumer Protection Legislation and Policy Division.

As the Director of Consumer Protection Legislation, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective legislative review and policy development projects to meet statutory obligations and government and community priorities.

You will lead a dynamic multidisciplinary team responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of Consumer Protection legislation and policy in accordance with the priorities set by the Department and the WA State Government.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of societal, political, and economic trends and be able to provide high-level advice to the Department's executive and the WA State Government.

You will play a key role in the design and development of consumer protection policy and its evaluation, ensuring that performance standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have well-developed leadership skills, with a superior ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships, along with exceptional communication and organisational skills.

You will engage your team to achieve positive outcomes and deliver on government priorities.
