Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Telecom Engineer to design, build, and maintain our next-generation telecom infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and deploying scalable and resilient systems that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Telecom Architecture: Develop and implement telecom architecture that supports our cloud-based contact center solutions.
- Telecom Expertise: Provide telecom expertise to drive business decisions and ensure that our solutions meet the needs of our customers.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend their obstacles and assist in finding solutions.
- Telecom Carrier Peering: Integrate new telephony providers to expand our telecom infrastructure.
- Automation: Work closely with our automation teams to define tools that allow us to scale at higher volumes.
- Documentation: Produce and review documentation and process regarding telecom network implementation/deployments, recurring issues, new standard operating procedures, knowledge transfer material, etc.
Requirements
- 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience
- 4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
- Associate's degree
- 4+ years hands-on experience in a telecom network design, focused in SIP protocol, VoIP technologies and telecom network operations.
- 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience
- 4+ years of experience with open-source VoIP systems like Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, SIPp, SER, etc.
