About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate Lawyer to join our client's Commercial and Construction Law team. As a Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging commercial and property legal issues/disputes, including:

  1. Commercial transactions and commercial litigation - e.g. buying/selling businesses, business structures, advising on directors/shareholders issues, corporate restructures, joint ventures, licensing/distribution, intellectual property, franchising, employment law, debt recovery, trusts, and general commercial contractual disputes.
  2. Construction law - e.g. advising/drafting building contracts, litigating construction disputes.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  1. A law degree and admission to the NSW Bar;
  2. A minimum of 3+ years' PAE experience in commercial law/commercial litigation (essential) AND construction law (preferable);
  3. Proven ability to highly autonomously manage your own files and clients from start to finish;
  4. Highly adaptable, client-centric, hands-on, proactive, and results-focused;
  5. Highly motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines;
  6. Proven ability to work in a vibrant, busy, and fast-paced environment;
  7. Genuinely seeking a long-term dual career specializing in commercial and construction law.
