Chief Cyber Protection Specialist

About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and strengthening our customers' security environments. In this position, you'll ensure security operations meet contractual deliverables and service level agreements (SLAs), while providing expert support across a range of activities.

You'll be involved in day-to-day security operations including implementing customer requests, supporting project design and installations, incident and problem management, reporting, and assisting Senior Security Engineers. Building trusted relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders is also essential to achieving successful outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Application Allowlisting Configurations: Develop, implement, and manage configurations to ensure optimal performance and security.
  2. Software Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct assessments and perform upgrades and patching as required to maintain a secure environment.
  3. Data Restorations: Perform secure data restorations as requested by customers.
  4. Security Software/Hardware: Test, implement, monitor, and tune security software/hardware to ensure optimal performance and proactively highlight potential issues.
  5. Documentation and Work Instructions: Create and maintain documentation and work instructions for security services.
  6. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting security system availability, performance, capacity, and utilization in line with SLAs.
  7. Security Consultation: Provide security consultation to customers, including risk management and mitigation strategies.
  8. Onsite Support: Deliver onsite support to customers and field staff in resolving system and application-related issues.
