Job Opportunity

This is a permanent or casual role that requires the right candidate to provide support and care to a client with high intensity needs.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in various settings and adapt to changing situations.

The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with clients, families and other professionals. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, using their initiative and judgment to make informed decisions.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing personal care and assistance to clients with high intensity needs
  • Supporting daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming
  • Preparing and serving meals and snacks
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers
  • Offering emotional support and companionship

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification and have current First Aid Certification. They will also need to be able to obtain a Working with Children Check and a National Police Certificate.
