Job Title: Intensive Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Specialist to join our healthcare team. As an expert in high acuity care, you will be responsible for delivering critical medical services to patients with complex needs.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care, focusing on individualized treatment plans and coordinated care transitions.
  • Your expertise in respiratory support, including high flow oxygen therapy and non-invasive ventilation, will be invaluable in managing critically ill patients.
  • You will also oversee admission and discharge planning, ensuring seamless transitions between care settings.
  • Your ability to continuously monitor heart rhythms and titrate IV medications based on established protocols will be crucial in providing high-quality care.
  • In addition, you will manage arterial lines and provide meticulous post-operative monitoring, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high acuity care to critically ill patients, including those requiring advanced respiratory support and close monitoring of vital signs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, medication administration, and laboratory results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in intensive care medicine.

Requirements:

  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse with Authority to Practice is required.
