About the Role:

This position is ideal for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about their career and eager to learn and grow.

The role involves providing support to senior staff on a range of accounting, taxation, and business advisory matters. This includes preparing accounts and workpapers for clients, assisting with general ledger reconciliations and year-end adjustments, and supporting senior staff with budget and cash flow preparation, funding applications, tax and structure advice, management accounting reporting, and evaluation of client information systems.

Additional responsibilities include handling various income tax matters, such as income tax return preparation for different structures, taxation planning and forecasting, and BAS preparation and indirect taxes like Fringe Benefits Tax, Land Tax, and Payroll Tax. The successful candidate will also assist senior staff on employment-related taxation matters and monthly compliance obligations like PAYG.

Maintenance of knowledge of client software solutions and staying updated on relevant legislative changes affecting client business and personal affairs are essential aspects of this role. Additionally, the ability to record time spent on client tasks diligently is crucial.

Key Requirements:
