Job Title: Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist Persistent Pain Service
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated occupational therapist and physiotherapist to join our team in managing individuals with persistent pain.
This role involves working closely with medical and nursing teams to develop and grow our service, with the expectation of the role continuing past the initial 6 months and becoming permanent as part of our wider rehabilitation team.
- Experience in managing individuals with persistent pain is highly regarded.
- The successful applicant will manage a diverse caseload, work autonomously, and participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team to address functional, equipment, and service needs of clients.
- Service provision includes inpatient services and acute care for individuals and groups.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset, passion for client care, and high standard of customer-focused service aligned with our core values.
- Tertiary qualification in occupational therapy or physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA are essential.
- Ability to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate rehabilitation programs, demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, and commit to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice.
