Design and implement electrical systems for a sustainable future.

Job Description:

Create innovative solutions to complex electrical problems. Develop and maintain product documentation, including reports and design specifications.

  • Develop detailed electrical drawings, calculations, specifications, technical proposals, and reports.
  • Design and control electrical systems and products.
  • Perform detailed calculations to develop manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational standards, specifications, and designs for electrical systems or components.
  • Analyze electrical system requirements, capacity, cost, and project needs and then develop a system plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time.
  • Enact Electrical System Concept & Design Criteria.
  • Perform in Electrical Study & Equipment Sizing Calculation.
  • Establish Equipment List & Electrical Load List.
  • Prepare Technical Specification & Equipment Supplier TBE.
  • Create Construction Process Drawing & Deliverables.
  • Design GIS/AIS/Transmission Lines.
  • Taking-off Electrical Bill of Material.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a recognized engineering qualification.
  • 10+ years of experience in detailed design/engineering in 132kV and above Substation & Transmission Lines in Australia.
  • Experience in Renewable PV Solar Farm and/or large-scale Battery Storage projects (minimum 100MW).
  • Proficiency in HV substation design and Transmission Lines.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, NER, AEMO, and NSP regulations.
