Electrical Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. The role involves designing and developing electrical systems for the Hunter Class Frigate Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain terrestrial electrical distribution systems.
  • Generate and manage parts lists for procurement activities.
  • Deliver designs compliant with Australian Standards and adhere to workplace safety policies.
  • Oversee the installation of electrical systems by approved contractors.
  • Design earthing systems for combat system equipment.
  • Provide technical oversight in the development of lightning protection systems.
  • Assess vendor solutions, specifications, and data related to LBTS systems.
  • Collaborate with specialty engineering teams to ensure compliance of LBTS systems.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with low voltage electrical distribution.
  • Electrical engineering degree qualification.
  • Extensive experience in engineering operations, including configuration management methods, logistics engineering products, technical report writing, and data management.
