UNSW Australia is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join its Casual Academic Talent Pool in the School of Banking and Finance.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 AUD.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for talented academics who can provide high-quality teaching support to our students. As a casual academic, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and courses within the School, including tutoring, lecturing, and demonstrating.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional teaching services to our students, which may include leading classes, preparing course materials, and assessing student performance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience in finance-related subjects;
  • A strong understanding of financial concepts and theories;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching services;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;

In addition, you must have completed all undergraduate business degree requirements and demonstrated a strong performance in finance courses with a HD in relevant subjects. You should also be able to attend UNSW Business School training sessions, which are usually held on Fridays in week 1 (full day), week 5 (half day), and week 10 (half day).
