Support Life Skills Specialists

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people living with physical and mental disabilities. As a Support Life Skills Specialist, you will provide support and assistance with daily life activities and community participation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aiding participants with daily life activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and shopping.
  • Supporting individuals with their educational and work-related endeavors.
  • Facilitating access to various community, social, and recreational activities.
  • Assisting with transportation to enable access to daily activities and engagements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with people with psychosocial disabilities.
  • Good communication skills and ability to do case notes through a mobile phone.
  • Possession of a valid NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Check.
  • NSW Driver's license (can be on Green P Plates), access to a reliable car and Comprehensive car insurance are required for the role.
  • First Aid Certificate is also a necessary qualification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support.
