Key Responsibilities

  • To work collaboratively with the Clinical Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Nurse Practitioners to provide seamless care to patients;">
  • To utilize your clinical skills and experience to contribute to the development of best practice outcomes and care standards;">
  • To participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in emergency medicine;">
  • To foster strong relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and teamwork;">
  • To prioritize tasks effectively to meet the needs of patients and the department;">
  • To maintain accurate records and reports as required by the hospital's policies and procedures;">
  • To adhere to NSW Health policies and guidelines, including those related to infection control, medication management, and patient confidentiality.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • ">
  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA;">
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in emergency medicine;">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;">
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;">
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including night shifts and weekends;">
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development;">
  • Compliance with NSW Health policies and guidelines.">

Salary Package

">

We offer a competitive salary package, including:

">
  • ">
  • A base salary of $43.55 - $59.96 per hour (plus allowances) or $88,465 - $123,395 per annum pro-rata; and">
  • Superannuation contributions of 11%;">
  • Salary packaging options, including up to $9k for living expenses and meal entertainment allowance;">
  • Four weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part-time employees); and">
  • Up to 12 allocated days off each year (for full-time employees).">
