Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Claims Adjuster to handle insurance claims reported by policyholders. Your primary responsibility will be to investigate, adjust, negotiate, settle or deny claims in a fair and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain professional relationships with policyholders, claimants, and witnesses through telephone communication.
  • Investigate claims legitimacy, interview policyholders, and take statements from relevant parties.
  • Review information including estimates, photos, videos, proof of ownership, hospital records, and other pertinent details to substantiate claims.
  • Negotiate fair and cost-effective settlements with policyholders, claimants, or their representatives.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma in business or related courses, programs, licenses (insurance-related), or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in claims or insurance environments.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience handling home insurance claims, with working knowledge of home policies, processes, and property-related investigations.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Second language proficiency.
