Insurance Claims Specialist

Marsh McLennan is seeking a skilled and experienced Insurance Claims Specialist to join their team. This role will involve managing end-to-end processes for a mixed portfolio of claims, conducting accurate reserving and investigating claims, negotiating with third parties, and building relationships with clients.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be able to remain calm under pressure and work flexibly when required, and have relevant tertiary qualifications such as Law, Business/Commerce or Loss Adjusting.
- Manage a portfolio of insurance claims from inception to finalization.
- Conduct thorough investigations into claims and negotiate settlements with claimants and third-party service providers.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including brokers, underwriters, and reinsurers.
- Provide expert advice on insurance-related matters to colleagues and clients.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a field related to insurance or law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
