About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pyschologist or Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. As a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessment and therapeutic services to clients presenting with a broad range of issues relating to mental health, domestic violence, alcohol and substance misuse and trauma.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. You will also have experience working in a community-based setting and be familiar with the principles of cultural safety and awareness.

In addition to providing direct care services, you will contribute to the development and implementation of programs and services that promote the social and emotional wellbeing of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality psychological assessment and therapeutic services to clients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of clients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of programs and services that promote social and emotional wellbeing
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology or related field
  • Registered with AHPRA as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist
  • Experience working in a community-based setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cultural competence and understanding of Aboriginal cultural practices
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $109,629 - $132,658 per annum (base salary), plus superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax savings from salary packaging options. Total effective package: $133,060 - $160,655 per annum.
