We are seeking a skilled and passionate Penguin Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Curatorial Department, you will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of our penguins, ensuring they receive the best possible environment and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care for our penguins, including feeding, cleaning, and providing enrichment activities;">
  • Maintain high standards of animal welfare and safety in all aspects of your work;">
  • Work collaboratively with our experienced team to deliver world-class exhibits and displays;">
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new exhibit concepts and ideas;">

About You

">

We are looking for someone with:

">
  • ">
  • A minimum of 2 years paid experience in an animal care role in a zoo or aquarium setting;">
  • Tertiary qualifications in animal care and/or marine biology;">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners;">
  • Ability to lift 20 kg to shoulder height and carry materials, transport boxes, buckets, and frozen fish throughout the facility;">
