Personal Care Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Care Specialist to provide support to our nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and service, and we believe that you would be a valuable addition.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about caring for patients who require assistance with daily living activities. As a Personal Care Specialist, you will work closely with our nursing team to deliver a high standard of care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and mobility.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or degree deemed appropriate; or current enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) with evidence of completion of Block 1; or completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care).
  • Demonstrated effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
