Senior Health and Safety Advisor

This role supports our office-based business unit, where you will work collaboratively with leadership and operational teams to promote a positive, safety-focused culture.
As an Occupational Health and Safety Business Partner, you will collaborate with leaders to bring the organisation's health and safety strategy to life.
The successful candidate will assist in creating annual improvement plans to enhance workplace safety and achieve a zero-incident culture.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with leaders to implement organisational change initiatives focused on improving health and safety performance.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to prevent incidents and maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide technical support to site teams, helping them to develop and implement effective control measures.
- Assist in conducting audits and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- 4 + years of experience in an Occupational Health and Safety role within a similar environment.
- Prior experience participating in audits and corrective action planning.
- Excellent working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations and standards.
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
- Lead Auditor or Auditor qualifications (desired).
- Incident Investigation and Facilitating Risk Assessments (desired).
- Valid driver's license required.
