Job Title: Astronomy Programs Officer Astronomy Programs Officer is a key role in the delivery of astronomy programs, pre-recorded shows, visual presentations and hands-on demonstrations to the visiting public and school groups. About the Role
  • This casual position will be part of an ongoing casually rostered team to assist in the development and delivery of astronomy programs.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the team to deliver high-quality programs to the visiting public and school groups.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive astronomy programs to the visiting public and school groups.
  • Assist in the development of new astronomy programs and content.
  • Provide excellent customer service to the visiting public and school groups.
  • Maintain a safe and respectful working environment.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Well-developed research and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
