About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our F35 Joint Strike Fighter team in Williamtown, NSW. As a key member of our Aerospace organisation, you will be responsible for the production, maintenance, and repair of sheet metal, bonded, and non-metallic composite materials and components on aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulatory and airworthiness requirements.
  2. Work in an aviation environment, adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures.
  3. Collaborate with the Team Leader to carry out maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
  4. Ensure accurate recording of maintenance activities, including documentation and certification.
  5. Identify and report defects, deficiencies, and maintenance errors, initiating quality and non-conformance reporting as necessary.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills - Structures or equivalent.
  • Australian citizenship and ability to obtain a Federal Government Security Clearance.
  • Experience or strong interest in working with Defence Aircraft.
  • Military or Civil Aviation Maintenance Licence (highly desirable).
  • Understanding of Australian Defence Force aircraft maintenance regulations, processes, and procedures (highly desirable).
