Job Title: Stablehand

We are seeking a skilled and experienced stablehand to join our team at Wyong Racetrack.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with the care and maintenance of our horses, ensuring they receive top-notch attention and handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily care of horses including feeding, grooming, and exercising them
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety
  • Assist with horse transportation and handling, always prioritizing their well-being and safety
  • Perform other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with horses, preferably in a racing or equestrian setting
  • Able to lift and carry heavy loads, with physical fitness that meets the demands of the role
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and trainers
