Support Worker Opportunity

Making a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities is at the heart of our mission. Our team is dedicated to enhancing the lives and well-being of individuals with disabilities, and we're looking for compassionate professionals to join us.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide supportive care to clients in accordance with their NDIS plans.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming.
  • Offer transportation assistance to clients.
  • Provide respite care to clients and their families.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of clients' care plans and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with latest developments and best practices in the NDIS field.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of high school or equivalent qualification.
  • Certificate 2 or 4 in individual support or willingness to work towards completion (highly regarded).
  • Lived experience or paid experience working with people with disability.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including days, nights, sleepovers, and weekends.
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work with a diverse client base, understanding different support needs based on abilities, cultural backgrounds, and language requirements.
  • BASIC CARE AND FIRST AID SKILLS REQUIRED.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
