Job Title: Regional Operations CoordinatorAbout the Role:The Area Coordinator role is responsible for supporting the Area Manager in delivering projects and engineering outputs. This includes ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule meet program goals and deliverables.   • Support project delivery and engineering outputs in accordance with developed plans, working closely with the Area Manager to achieve set objectives.
  • Organise activities and tasks for specific projects, prioritising production activities to ensure efficient execution and minimisation of holds to schedule.
  • Coordinate and de-conflict production activities in accordance with the Ship Plan of Day (SPOD), ensuring all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date on progress.
  • Facilitate production issue resolution, utilising problem-solving skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Monitor progress and maintain schedules, including Control Account and Contract Master Schedule reporting obligations to ensure transparency and accountability.
About You:
  • Demonstrated experience in an engineering, production, and/or defence environment, with a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced and dynamic settings.
  • Proven ability to manage various trade-related groups and/or contractors, developing strong relationships and fostering collaboration.
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements, demonstrating adaptability and resilience under pressure.
  • Experience with stakeholder management, including communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Understanding of Earned Value Management principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for a variety of audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain, as well as International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations compliance.
