Key responsibilities
  • Contribute to transactional execution by preparing marketing pitches, reviewing financial analysis, and presenting internal and client presentations.
  • Lead the implementation of execution functions, working with analysts and supporting senior bankers.
  • Develop strong analytical, modelling, writing, and presentation skills to become a senior officer capable of generating and executing transactions.
  • Maintain knowledge of global and Australian sectors and collaborate with colleagues across JP Morgan's global platform and Australian product groups.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for J.P. Morgan's mission and be driven and committed to its success.

About the team you'll work with

  • You will be part of a diverse team of over 100 Analysts and Associates across the APAC region.
  • You will be involved in real-time transactions that may include travel.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in investment banking or finance related sectors and an awareness of products and services provided.
  • A well-rounded academic background from a top-tier educational institution.
  • Strong financial modelling skills.
  • A general understanding of the M&A and capital markets transaction cycle and processes involved.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders.
