Rehabilitation Physician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rehabilitation Physician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the shared management of patients on our 34-bed rehabilitation ward.
The position involves managing a diverse range of patient conditions, including stroke, neurological, orthopaedic, geriatric, cardiac and cancer rehabilitation.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Manage patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring rehabilitation services.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct thorough assessments and provide high-quality care to all patients admitted to the unit.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:
Essential Criteria:
- A Medical Degree and current registration with AHPRA.
- Postgraduate clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated relevant clinical practice at a high standard.
- Clinical experience in the management of orthopaedic, neurological and medical conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
