Job Title:

Staff Specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine

The role of Staff Specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Rehabilitation, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the department and hospital as required.

The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and have Fellowship of the Faculty of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FAFRM) with recognised qualifications in Rehabilitation Medicine and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high quality Specialist Rehabilitation Medicine services to inpatients and outpatients across CRGH
  • Ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.

Successful applicants are required to abide by the Code of Conduct.

Requirements:
  • Registered, or eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA
  • Fellowship of the Faculty of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine of RACP (FAFRM)
  • Recognised qualifications in Rehabilitation Medicine and/or other equivalent specialist recognition
