Primary School Level Robotics Tutor Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our team as a Primary School Level Robotics Tutor. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in coding and robotics by tutoring primary school students.

  • Teach a class of five to fifteen primary school Year 1 - 6 students theory and practical topics on robotics and coding.
  • Supervise students as they construct a project using materials provided.
  • Keep track of student attendance, performance, and create reports.
  • Prepare for lessons by developing lesson material.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required.
  • Keen to learn and teach students.
  • Knowledge of Blockly, Scratch, or other block-based programming languages (for coding lessons).
  • Knowledge of VEX Robotics program and good hands-on building skills (for robotics lessons).
  • Studies in education, robotics, engineering, or coding preferred.
  • Able to work at Chatswood, NSW, Australia.
  • Capable of obtaining a Working with Children's Check.
  • Fluent in the use of teaching aids such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
