Key to unlocking the full potential of our bespoke robotic automation & control systems is a skilled and dynamic Controls Engineer. If you're looking for a challenge that requires innovative problem-solving, creativity, and technical expertise, this could be the ideal role for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and optimise control algorithms for bespoke systems to ensure seamless integration and efficient performance.
  • Design and integrate control systems for real-time operation, guaranteeing precise and efficient movement, sensing, and interaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate control algorithms, mechanical design, manipulator suitability and optimise performance to meet cycle time commitments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues, ensuring smooth operation and reliability through careful analysis and troubleshooting.

For this position, we are seeking candidates with a strong educational background in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant skills include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong background in robotics controls and demonstrated experience in developing control algorithms for robotic systems.
  • Familiarity and experience with robotic hardware platforms, PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens, Omron etc), sensors, and actuators.
  • Solid understanding of control theory, including PID control, state-space control, and adaptive control.
