We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Westpac Group. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance deliverables and ensuring the highest level of performance and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to define quality requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria from a testing perspective.
- Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the highest level of performance and productivity.
- Participate in programme-level discussions for rapid assessment, backlog prioritisation, and planning testing activities.
- Produce Test Strategy, Test Plan, and Test Completion reports to align with programme release plans and delivery methodology.
- Set up quality assurance reporting and dashboards that can be used for reporting and to analyse to identify patterns, root causes, and opportunities for continuous improvements.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience within the Quality Assurance, with at least 5 years of experience as Test Lead/Manager.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment.
- Experience in designing and implementing test automation solutions is highly desirable.
- Substantial experience working in a large and complex organisation in the financial services or banking industry.
- Well-developed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to enable effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels (including external and internal Suppliers).
- Solid understanding of testing tools like Playwright, Selenium, and Postman will be of great advantage.
- Experience in one or more Agile methods, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc. Professional Agile certification is highly desired.
