Are you a seasoned Quality Assurance professional looking for a new challenge in the food industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at a leading food manufacturing company.

This is a full-time permanent position based in the Hornsby Region, with a salary dependent on experience. As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our products.

The day-to-day duties of this role will include:

  • Managing HACCP documentation and programs
  • Managing internal and external HACCP audits
  • Managing and maintaining labelling and nutritional information
  • Staff induction and training, including filing of staff records
  • Daily factory inspections
  • Daily HACCP record checks and management
  • Supplier compliance checks and record keeping
  • Investigating and reporting on customer complaints
  • Coordinating microbiological testing programs and analysis results
  • Maintaining current product specification sheets

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 5-10 years of experience in the food industry
  • Bakery industry experience is ideal
  • Solid knowledge of HACCP, allergens, product specifications, labelling and supply audit
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
