About the Role

Maintaining heavy earthmoving fleet health and safety is a critical task. As a tyre fitter, you will be responsible for diagnosing tyre/rim/wheel conditions, removing and replacing rims/wheels, and performing regular tyre inflation pressure checks.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose tyre/rim/wheel conditions to ensure optimal performance.
  • Remove and replace rim/wheel units from vehicles, and tyres from rim/wheels as required.
  • Perform routine tyre inflation pressure checks, adjust as necessary, and report to supervisors.
  • Analyse technical information from relevant reference materials, technical bulletins, and computer systems.
  • Implement measures to prevent equipment non-conformance.
  • Set and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
  • Conduct thorough pre-start checks.
About You
  • Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing is essential.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in mine site-based heavy tyre fitting is required.
  • Previous open cut mining experience in maintaining a heavy earthmoving fleet is crucial.
  • An HR driver's licence is mandatory.
  • Compliance with and commitment to health and safety protocols at all times are expected.
