**Job Title:** Risk Management DirectorRisk management professionals with expertise in policy, governance, and insurance are highly sought after by organizations. The ideal candidate will utilize their knowledge to shape the organization's strategy, strengthen risk management, and build a robust incident response framework.This leadership role involves overseeing a team of five and collaborating closely with the executive team and Board to provide trusted advice and lead strategic initiatives that elevate risk maturity across the business.The incumbent will work hand-in-hand with brokers on renewals, placements, and claims to ensure the organization is properly covered across all its services.An essential responsibility is to strengthen existing frameworks and ensure they align with legislation, supporting decision-making from the front line to the Boardroom.
  • Tertiary qualifications in risk management, law, or commerce.
  • A proven track record of leading and implementing risk and compliance functions.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills with high levels of commerciality and pragmatism.

To be successful in this position, you will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think strategically.
