About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Student Placement Officer to join our team at uWorkin. As a key member of our student placement team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to students, staff, and placement partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Placement Advisory Services: Provide high-quality and accurate placement advisory services to staff, students, and placement partners.
  • Placement Partner Management: Ensure all student placement partner agreements are current to maintain relationships and collaborative links with relevant external organizations, industry partners, and placement providers.
  • Student Placement Administration: Contribute to the timely and efficient administration of student placement programs within our organization.
  • Student Eligibility Assessment: Assess and monitor the student's eligibility for student placement according to course requirements, placement policy, procedures, and host requirements.
  • Placement Activity Monitoring: Monitor, document, and report on student placement activity by maintaining our organization-wide student placement databases.
  • Service Delivery Improvement: Contribute to continual improvement of the service delivery and service satisfaction against the objectives of the placements team.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Completion of a degree or relevant experience or a combination of experience and/or education/training.
  • Administrative Experience: Diverse experience working in a high-volume administrative environment managing client issues and sensitive matters, preferably in student placements or a higher education setting.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Informed analytical and problem-solving skills to judge shifting priorities and conflicting deadlines, taking corrective action.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills, to deliver a customer-centric service with positive outcomes.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member in a high-volume environment.
  • Computer Literacy: Intermediate computer literacy across a range of computer programs including the Microsoft Suite and Adobe.
