Salary Package

The successful candidate will be offered a salary package of $91,362 - $105,165 per annum (pro rata), plus 17% superannuation. This competitive salary reflects the importance of this role in supporting the Centre's mission and goals.

Job Description

">

We are seeking an experienced Energy Policy Administrator to support the work of the Centre for Climate & Energy Policy. In this role, you will provide high-level advice and administrative support to the Centre Director and project leaders, ensuring the efficient and effective management of day-to-day operations and events organized by the Centre.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing submission of grant applications, government submissions, and policy briefs with inputs from multiple authors;
  • Organizing hybrid events, conferences, and workshops related to climate and energy policy;
  • Providing administrative support to the Centre Director and project leaders, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and coordinating travel arrangements;
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases related to Centre activities and projects;

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You will also have a strong understanding of energy policy and climate change issues, as well as the ability to analyze complex data and develop practical solutions.
