Job Summary:

We are seeking an Asian Art Curator to assist in developing the museum's collection and contributing to exhibitions.

About the Role:

  • Develop the Asian Art collection by implementing the collections strategy and acquisitions policy.
  • Plan, research, develop, and coordinate displays and exhibitions with curatorial and audience engagement teams.
  • Maintain records, manage budgets, and update contacts.
  • Support curatorial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in Asian art with a related tertiary qualification.
  • Direct or transferable experience in curatorial practice, exhibition management, publishing, or research.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise using collection management databases.
