Seeking a Curator with expertise in Asian Art to lead exhibitions and displays, develop collections, and manage administrative duties.

About the Role
  • Develop the Asian Art collection through acquisitions, research, and documentation in line with museum strategies and policies.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in cross-departmental projects for displays and exhibitions.
  • Maintain accurate records, budgets, schedules, and contacts; process financial administration and respond to inquiries.

Contribute to curatorial initiatives such as publications, audience engagement, and learning programs. Support awareness of the Asian Art collection through internal and external stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curatorial Duties:
    • Develop and implement curatorial plans for exhibitions and displays.
    • Collaborate with team members on project planning and execution.
    • Manage collection development, including acquisition, conservation, and research.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation.
    • Process financial administration, including budget management and expense tracking.
    • Respond to inquiries and provide information to stakeholders.
