Key Responsibilities

As a key member of Visy's Talent Acquisition project team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our workforce by sourcing skilled talent needed to drive our operations forward.

  • Collaborate with Visy's Talent Acquisition team to recruit technical trade, blue-collar, and engineering roles for Visy sites in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to attract talent for a range of critical projects & role types.
  • Research and source key talents building and maintaining talent pools to ensure a pipeline of qualified candidates, focusing on both active and passive candidate markets.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders across Visy sites to meet recruitment needs.
  • Provide guidance on Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) interpretation and compliance throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and compliant hiring journey.
  • Maintain a human-centric approach, delivering a positive and engaging experience for candidates from application through to onboarding.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in recruiting technical trade, blue-collar, or engineering roles, with expertise in high-volume settings and projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate recruitment software for efficient candidate management and communication. Exposure to PageUp and SuccessFactors desirable.
  • Experience in the use of various sourcing channels and proactive talent pooling.
  • A deep technical understanding of the unique recruitment needs in trades and manufacturing industries.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A driven results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding recruitment targets.
