Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Consultant Gastroenterologist to deliver high-quality patient care in Tasmania's major hospitals.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gastroenterology and be committed to delivering specialist diagnosis, treatment, and care for public patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialist diagnosis, treatment, and care for public patients with gastrointestinal disorders
• Contribute to the management of patients with general gastroenterology, IBD, chronic liver disease, and diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy
• Participate in the delivery of undergraduate medical education programs
• Develop and implement healthcare initiatives at both patient and system levels, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
Requirements:
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent
