About this role
We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team, providing rehabilitation services and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to work in a supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality care and improving the wellbeing of our community.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including Physicians, Allied Health specialists, and Nurses, to provide comprehensive care that addresses the physical, emotional, and social needs of our clients.
About the position
This is a part-time day worker position, working up to 60.8 hours per fortnight. The successful applicant will have the flexibility to negotiate their hours to meet the needs of the team and ensure the provision of quality care to our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based rehabilitation programs to individuals and groups, promoting optimal health outcomes and quality of life;
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, identifying strengths and challenges, and developing targeted interventions to address specific needs;
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring seamless coordination of care;
- Provide education and support to clients, families, and caregivers, promoting empowerment and independence;
- Maintain accurate and detailed records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative requirements and organisational policies;
