Role Overview

We are seeking a Smart Energy Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This key role will report directly to the Line of Business and work closely with country operations.

The ideal candidate will be the go-to expert for designing and delivering EcoStruxure Microgrid solutions across the Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 'train-the-trainer' sessions from the Line of Business
  • Equip tender managers and engineers with the knowledge and tools to succeed
  • Onboard and support new Microgrid EcoXperts
  • Collaborate with sales teams, customers, and consultants to recommend optimal microgrid architectures and use cases
  • Prepare high-quality technical and commercial proposals
  • Leverage standard solutions and assess the need for custom engineering
  • Participate in peer reviews and proposal approvals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Passion for energy transition, decarbonisation, and emerging technologies
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in technical pre-sales, tendering, or solution design
  • Strong background in automation platforms (e.g., EPAS, Machine Expert)
  • Solid understanding of LV/MV electrical distribution and off-grid systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Team-oriented, results-driven, and resilient under pressure
  • Experience with EcoStruxure Microgrid Operation & Advisor
  • Deep understanding of microgrid use cases and architectures
  • Familiarity with containerised BESS solutions
  • Knowledge of utility markets, tariffs, and incentive schemes
  • Experience with energy modelling (e.g., solar PV, BESS)
