This role is part of a specialist service providing safe and appropriate temporary accommodation for vulnerable young expectant mothers in the Parramatta area.
Key Responsibilities:- Support clients to make informed choices and promote independence.
- Contribute to case planning with the case manager.
- Assist with intake and assessment of clients, maintaining accurate records.
- Apply trauma-informed practice when providing support to individuals who have experienced trauma.
- Ensure high standards of conduct and performance.
- Coordinate seamless service delivery and facilitate effective communication.
- Engage actively in team meetings, performance management, and continuous improvement.
- Adhere to organisational values, policies, and procedures.
- Promote a safe and inclusive working environment.
- Transport clients when required.
- Provide general administrative support.
- Certificate IV in Community Services, Mental Health, Youth Work, or a related field.
- First Aid Certificate
- Valid Driver's License
- 2+ years of experience working with homelessness, youth, women's and children's mental health.
- Proficiency in working with vulnerable populations.
- Knowledge of best practices for Specialist Homelessness funded Services.
- Computer skills for timely and accurate client information.
