Aboriginal Teacher Opportunities

We are seeking passionate and dedicated educators to inspire the next generation of Aboriginal Studies students. Our team is committed to creating a culturally safe workplace where dignity, trust, respect, and the promotion of diversity and inclusion are valued.

This role involves teaching and mentoring students in Aboriginal Studies, Languages & Culture Education. You will be working with a diverse group of students and staff, and have the opportunity to share your skills, stories, and passions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Certificate IV in Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander Studies, Mentoring, Languages and / or Culture or equivalent. They will also have knowledge of the cultural diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, and three years + post-qualification experience in relevant industry, gained no longer than five years ago.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Taught Aboriginal Studies, Languages & Culture Education to students
  • Mentored students to develop their knowledge and skills
  • Worked collaboratively with colleagues to achieve educational outcomes

Selection Criteria
