Occupational Health and Safety Professional

The Work Health and Safety Partner role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of effective occupational health and safety programs.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for facilitating ongoing best practice OH&S programs, processes, reporting, and maintaining the currency and maintenance of the organization's OHS incident and reporting system/software.
You will work closely with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of safety, and provide expert advice on OH&S matters.
Key duties include:
- Qualifications in Occupational Safety and Health and/or relevant discipline
- A strong understanding of theory, practice, and legislation relating to work health and safety, risk management, and injury management
- Ability to use and maintain a comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety Management System
- Demonstrated ability to manage OH&S projects from conception through to implementation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
