You will work collaboratively with our school community to develop and implement programs that promote the academic success and well-being of our First Nations students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement culturally responsive teaching practices that promote the academic success and well-being of First Nations students
  • Work collaboratively with school leaders, teachers, and support staff to develop and implement programs that promote Indigenous education and cultural awareness
  • Provide professional development and support to teachers to enhance their understanding and practice of Indigenous education
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local Indigenous communities and organizations to promote cultural exchange and understanding
Requirements
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
  • Experience in teaching Indigenous students and a strong understanding of Indigenous education principles and practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school leaders, teachers, and support staff to achieve shared goals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
