Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in program planning, delivery, and documentation to ensure a high-quality, inclusive, and educational program for children.
  • Support staff rostering and supervision to maintain a safe and secure environment for children.
  • Contribute to administration and financial management tasks, including fee collection and record-keeping.
  • Assist in the delivery of a high-quality program that promotes children's social, personal, respectful, spiritual, creative, and confident growth.
  • Provide a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with our organization's values and mission.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
  • Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the Coordinator.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework, and National Law/Regulations.
  • Experience in the education and care of children.
  • Effective computer skills, including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
  • Effective workplace communication and leadership skills.
