Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Coordinator to join our team at St Pius OSHC. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service.

Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Program Planning and Delivery
    • Assist in the development and implementation of high-quality programs for children.
  • Staff Supervision and Rostering
    • Supervise and support staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
  • Administration and Financial Management
    • Assist with administrative tasks, including fee collection and financial management.
  • Child Safety and Wellbeing
    • Provide a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma in Children Services or equivalent qualification.
  • A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and other relevant certifications.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in the education and care of children.
  • Effective computer skills, including experience with childcare management software.
