Aircraft Maintenance Technician

**About this Role**
Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) within Airbus Australia Pacific are responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and reliability of our military aircraft. As a Structures AME, you will be part of a team that contributes to the success of our customers by providing exceptional maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance activities in accordance with relevant regulations, maintenance documentation, and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of aircraft systems, structures, and maintenance documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Aeroskills (Structures) or equivalent issued by a Registered Training Organisation.
- High-level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and experience.
- Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices.
- Experience in an Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) environment.
- Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETP).
- Ability to obtain an Australian Government Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of and experience using CAMM2.
- Knowledge and experience in complex composite repairs.
- Defence ARH Type rating Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence B1.3 with Structures inclusion.
