Leidos Airborne Solutions Australia, a leading provider of airborne special missions for the Australian Government, seeks an experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join their Darwin team. With a strong commitment to safety and exceptional maintenance practices, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability and airworthiness of our aircraft.
Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, inspecting aircraft components, and supervising maintenance personnel as required. A Heavy and Line maintenance background is essential, with a DHC8 Classic Type Rating highly desirable. Relocation assistance is offered for non-local residents, and a Dash 8 Classic Rating can be provided if not currently held.
In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will work closely with the Senior Base Engineers to ensure all maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively. As a key member of the engineering team, your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help maintain the highest standards of aircraft maintenance.
