We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Hospitality Service Assistant. This role will involve delivering exceptional support to the hospitality function within our care home, including catering, cleaning and laundry.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be a team player who enjoys interacting with people and giving back to our most vulnerable residents. You will be responsible for maintaining workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards, completing required documentation and reporting, responding to residents' queries and requests, and performing laundry and catering duties.

About You

You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be flexible in your availability for various shifts throughout the week, and have an understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices, allowing you to work unsupervised.

Duties
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
  • Assist with basic food preparation, provide meals and snacks, clear dining areas and perform dishwashing duties
  • Load and unload washing machines and dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap or iron linen as needed
